Septer is an American-style power metal band with similarities to Jag Panzer, Iced Earth, and Manowar. Formed in the mid-'90s by guitarists Paul Dailey and Orest "Hawk" Dziatyk, the band released their debut in 2003. Frontman Kevin Truell displays awesome range with his gritty style that is somewhat of a mix between Biff Byford (Saxon) and Chris Boltondahl (Grave Digger). Keivn has since departed the band, however, replaced by Dane McCartney. The band is at work on their sophomore CD.
